Mission & Vision

We deliver community-powered healthcare services, bridging the gap in acute, primary and urgent care. Our vision is to connect communities to their local healthcare economies, delivering healthcare equality and generating value created healthcare.

Investing in the People in Our Communities

Across our group of companies, we firmly believe that investing in people is the most powerful way to invest in communities. Every new colleague who joins our team without a clinical qualification begins their journey with a nationally recognised qualification – the Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC3) – as a minimum standard. With training above the industry standards, we ensure that every member of staff, from their very first day, has the knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective care. Importantly, all training is fully funded by us, removing barriers to entry.

We go further by offering structured pathways for ongoing professional development. Our colleagues can progress into advanced clinical roles or take up opportunities in leadership and management, supported by a blend of classroom, on-the-job, and digital learning. Many of our current managers began their careers as Ambulance Care Assistants and have developed into senior leaders through our training and mentorship programmes. By providing these opportunities, we help local people to build sustainable careers, gain nationally recognised qualifications, and make a lasting contribution to health and social care in their own communities.

Our Mission

A community powered and delivered healthcare service, bridging the gap in acute, primary and urgent care.

Our Vision

To connect communities to their local healthcare economies, delivering healthcare equality, and generating value created healthcare.

Investing in the Local Environment

We believe caring for people also means caring for the world around us. That’s why we are investing in cleaner, greener ways to deliver patient transport and run our services. Alongside introducing electric ambulances and building our own charging points, we are decarbonising our estates by using renewable energy, installing smart charging systems, and managing our stations to reduce waste and energy use. We also plan smarter routes to cut down on unnecessary mileage and train our teams in green driving practices.

Giving Back to Our Communities

We believe that being a good partner to our communities means going beyond just delivering services. Each year we select a Charity of the Year and support fundraising
events ranging from sponsored walks and marathons to bake sales and seasonal fundraising events such as easter egg collections and Christmas present collections. These efforts not only raise vital funds for local causes but also bring our teams closer to the people within our communities.

We also provide free-of-charge transport services in circumstances where patients or families face exceptional need and do not meet eligibility criteria for NHS-funded journeys. This small but important commitment ensures that no one is left without safe and dignified transport at critical moments in their lives.

Giving back is not only about supporting the wider community – it is also about looking after our own people. We run regular wellbeing campaigns that focus on mental health awareness, healthy living, and resilience, helping staff to feel supported and connected. These campaigns often link with national and regional initiatives, reinforcing our shared responsibility for creating healthier communities inside and outside our organisation.
